again， despite knowing everything that happened because i saw the anime first， i was SHOCKED。 i love the plot twists in the story and i’ll never get tired of them。 isabella is probably one of the best villains out there， so if you like good villains read this。

I’ve been reading this with my 11-year-old and she has been keeping me grounded。 Every time I make a comment about what the kids should be doing instead， she asks questions about my comments that remind me that “Right。。。 these are 11-year-olds like my daughter and not adults。” All of their choices are realistic， especially given that they grew up sheltered and without anyone else to trust but Mama。 Amazingly written。

3。5。Ahora es cuando empieza todo。 La trama es bastante interesante aunque predecible， para mí， durante el primer tomo。 En este segundo conocemos más a los protagonistas y aparecen nuevos personajes en el foco principal， uno de ellos， sister Krone， que a mi parecer puede dar mucho juego。 Los dibujos creo que son una pasada y le dan más el aire perturbador que confiere la historia。 Ya hay mucha tensión y engancha， pero a partir de aquí todo debería ir más hacia arriba， veremos a ver el tercero。

What a volume！ Just when you think you have an idea of how the story is going， it goes in the complete opposite direction。 The reveal of the spy blew me away and I’m absolutely loving the story。 Right now the story is still being set up， but I can tell that all hell is about to break loose。 I’m so excited to keep reading this series。

Actual rating: 4。5 stars Great continuation to the series！ I'm still impressed with the pacing and character development in this series。 The addition of Sister Krone was an interesting twist。 I was a bit uncomfortable at first as to how she was drawn， how her features became even larger and monsterous when she was with the children in some of the scenes， but I guess this could be the artist's way of showing how scary she appears to the children。 I've read critiques from other reviewers that Moth Actual rating: 4。5 stars Great continuation to the series！ I'm still impressed with the pacing and character development in this series。 The addition of Sister Krone was an interesting twist。 I was a bit uncomfortable at first as to how she was drawn， how her features became even larger and monsterous when she was with the children in some of the scenes， but I guess this could be the artist's way of showing how scary she appears to the children。 I've read critiques from other reviewers that Mother is even more dangerous and terrifying yet her features are never exaggerated。 But as she is the children's adopted mother， I can see how the kids would have a hard time picturing her anything as other than the woman they have always loved despite what they now know about her。 I love the plot element of the children needing to come up with a plan of escape and the possibility of a traitor in their midst。 Those tropes in stories are some of my favorite， and they are done so well here！ Very much looking forward to continuing the series。 。。。more

With the introduction of a spy among the children， the double and triple crossing going on is really intriguing。 The cat-and-mouse aspect of this manga is what really elevates it beyond just fighting monsters with smarts instead of brawn。 It actually reminds me a little of Death Note for that reason。 I hope it can maintain this feeling of dread and high stakes。

I made an agreement with the girls that I will buy them books they want for doing chores。 They’ve only wanted manga。 Part 2 of the agreement is that I have to read them first to see if they’re appropriate。 I’d say this one is fine for younger readers （5th grade-ish）。
